Why use Omega 3/6/9-VM™ from ™?
Large species of fish may contain significant levels of mercury, polychlorinated biphenyls
(PCBs), arsenic or other environmental contaminants as they accumulate over the fish’s life
span. Small fish such as sardine, mackerel and anchovy do not live for very long and they
do not get a chance to accumulate these toxins.
Omega 3/6/9-VM™ uses oil from small fish and the oil is purified by molecular distillation
and this high-tech process removes most of the harmful toxins.
Prolonged use of omega fatty acids supplements can cause vitamin E deficiency. More
importantly these omega fatty acids are extremely perishable and without adequate levels
antioxidants such as vitamin E, omega fatty acids oxidize, become nonfunctional, and even
generate excess free-radical activity which can be harmful to the body.
Omega 3/6/9-VM™ is formulated with mixed tocopherols (vitamin E) containing both
d-alpha tocopherol and gamma tocopherol. It is important to have both forms of vitamin E
as d-alpha-tocopherol scavenges reactive oxygen species and gamma tocopherol provides
protection against reactive nitrogen species which d-alpha tocopherol cannot do.
